~Next Game Review~

I don’t know why I didn’t start this earlier. Ok.
Black
Ok, here is one of the best FPS games of the 21st century, so far.
It has effective AI that adjust to the difficulty chosen. They use cover and will, eventually, rush you if you stay behind cover long enough. They do not just attack you all the time, like some of the earlier FPS games, but they attack your allies, when they are doing a mission with you. There is a wide variety of over 50 weapons. Various environments include a city in the daylight, full of cars and other things that can blow up and others like a Foundry or a forest-surrounded border-crossing. Almost everything in the environment can be modified in appearance, or even its existence, by weapon/explosive fire. I could go on all day about this, but I am going to shorten this. Overall, it is a great game that I would buy for my friends at any time.
Pros: Effective/challenging AI, Variety of weapons and environments, almost completly destructable environment. UNSEEN SPAWNING ROOMS for enemies to spawn in.
Cons: During a heavy firefight it may lag a bit, no challenge in finding ammo
Rating: ****+ 4 and a half stars!!!!

Sorry I haven’t posted anything lately, I just haven’t had the chance. From now on I will be working on Reviews for both FPS and 3PS games. I will also review games that are not FPS but have a high significance or success rate. From here on I will begin my first game review.
Urban Chaos
Urban Chaos is a great FPS game with a sophisticated AI system. The enemies(Burners) also have maany weapons with more than one use at their arsenal. For example, after you get a riot shield, try running up to a guy with a molotow cocktail. Most likely, he will whip one at you on the way to him. Get right in his face and make sure to have the riot shield pulled in front of you. He should blow fire in your face and then smash it into you-at close range. Not only does this show the different moves an enemy can use, but it shows REAL gang courage to fight for the gangs cause. Basically, he was willing to light himself on fire, to kill you! Another example of this is the cleaver(melee/throw).
The environments also have destructable items such as fire hydrants. Also, some things that you may not see in real life, but what’s the fun of a game without stuff like that. When you get your shield on the first level you have to pass by BLUE fire that is coming out of a gas chamber. Blue fire is actually hotter than orange fire, for all you ten-year olds that want to tell me otherwise. To do this, you basically face the fire, with your shield deployed and then walk past it. Make sure that you face it towards the source of the fire or else you get hurt. There are some other glitches in the game which I will add to this post later. One of the more evident ones is how the Burners spawn. It really is funny to watch a Burner pop out of the air in an alley. It could be more conceiled like in the game Black.
Overview: Overall it is a great game and I recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Great AI, Weapons, and enemy actions. Good environment.
Cons: Sometimes trippy/lagging graphics, minor glitches, the usual common cons.
Rating: **** 4 out of 5 stars!!!

Ultimate Destruction FPS

I may seem to have written alot about Black over the last few days, but that is just because I rented it this week

I have to say that it is one of my favorite FPS games. I have a few quotes from the head of Criterion Games. I can’t find them right now so I’ll just give you an idea. “We don’t want you to worry about running out of ammo” This is very true. Just to figure out how much desruction I could do to the environment, I played the first mission on hard, and also the Nazran Foundry mission on Normal. “If it can’t be destroyed, we don’t want it in the game”. These are not the exact quotes from the magazine but they are almost the same. I ran around the first mission for an HOUR just to make sure I destroyed everything that I knew I could. I think that I missed alot too. It is almost impossible to destroy everything in the environment. To give you an idea of how much of the environment can be destroyed, I will give you my approximate stats before and after the mission.

Before:

Bullets Fired: 20000

Kills:around 1000

Headshots: Around 200

Total Game time: I can’t remember

After:

Bullets fired:28000

Kills: around 1100

Headshots: around 250

Total Game time: can’t remember

You see that, I fired 8000 bullets just to desroy the environment. And, No I didn’t have to look all over for ammo. There is an almost endless supply of ammo in the missions. Maybe not for every gun(like the magnum) but you will find ammo for some gun.

This just shows that Criterion an EA Games put alot into the environment so that you can have fun while blowing stuff up.

1st mission of Black finished

I just finished writeing down how to beat mission 1 of black on easy, normal, and hard.

I have not unlocked Black Ops mode so I will get on that ASAP. Hope this helps someone otherwise I just spent 3 hours for nothing.

Black Strategy Guide

I have just started making a strategy guide on Black for how to beat it on all 4 difficulties 100%. It will take me a while to complete this as it takes about an hour for me to write down how to do a mission on easy(yeah im serious)! Even longer on the other difficulties because I have to be mindful of less health packs(so more cover) and secondary missions(intel, recon, destruction, blackmail, etc.) I hope it helps anyone that needs it because otherwise I just spent hours for nothing.
